"Mini"Sota Princess

We arrived in Minnesota on Tuesday to see my parents, and have been having a large time ever since! My mom assured me beforehand that I wouldn't need to pack anything for Whitley, and she proved correct as she proudly displayed new outfits, a cabinet of food, and a basement of toys, all for her little granddaughter's first visit. (I cannot express how gratifying it is to bring such joy to my parents, and Tom's, who also spoil her rotten with love and presents, by simply having Whitley. Sharing her with them makes me feel like I can finally show my immense gratitude for all the immeasurable love they've shown me throughout my life.) Amongst the gifts was a small, jeweled crown in Whitley's "signature color." In the photo she is enjoying a royal breakfast with her measuring spoon scepter. :) Whitley has had a lot of fun here the past few days. She went for a swing at the neighborhood playground and loved it! She giggles every time she propels forward. At the Mall of America, we toured the Nickelodeon kids' section with the roller coasters, rides, characters, and games. Whitley was rather subdued, taking in all the movement, colors and sounds. She rode a carousel for the first time, but looked like a pro! She sat up straight and held on tight to the amusement of those waiting in line. A family of four was waving and cheering her on. But no thrill ride is more fun than the wagon CC uses to pull her around the house. Her laughs and squeals beg for more!

I am standing behind her, holding her on. Didn't want anyone thinking I just sat her up there by herself!
