Beach Week!

We had an awesome beach week from June 28-July 6.  We rented a condo on the water like we did a few years ago, and hit the beach every single day!  The condo was great for cooling off, having lunch, and using the pool.  Also, we kept the tent there, and Tom would leave early each morning to set it up.  We had stormy weather a few days, but it always cleared up enough to make the drive to the beach worthwhile.  Whitley, Drew and David loved the water.  They spent nearly every minute either in the ocean or pool, and are quite the swimmers.  We'd pack up and leave in time for "happy hour" each night at CC and Day Day's, though.  We ate every meal but one at their house, and it was all delicious!  Judy joined us, of course, and Beb drove down from VA to spend three nights with us, too.  It truly was a blast- a vacation that I missed when I got home.  The pictures probably tell it best.  :)
The kids made a banner for Tom in preparation for his birthday on Friday.  (Additional blog to come!)
Sometimes the kids ate separately from the adults.  CC was serving as their waitress.  They thought that was super funny!
We lit sparklers quite a few times!
Kiki tries his out.
One night things got a little wild... We ended up having a dance party, and Beb and Tom were doing their "best" Mick Jagger impressions.
It was a riot!  CC, Stacy and I were dying laughing.

Ladies at the pool.
Happy hour one night.  Whitley is all over Al, of course.  She loves him!
Funny Drew.  (He's still very handsome.)
Just one of many meals!  We kind of rotated who sat at the main table.
Tom and I.
Sisters!
Funny fellas.
We four went to Crocodile Rock this night to hear the dueling pianos.  I reserved our seats, so we had a great table.  I loved the songs and humor.

Lunch in the condo.  They were saying "Pizza!!"
CC snapped a Watson photo for me.  :)
Just chillin'.
A major sand castle.  It was an underwater kingdom inhabited by many sea creatures.  Cool stuff.
