A Festive Fourth

Our beach week in South Carolina included the 4th of July, and we took several photos of us all in our red, white, and blue!

I brought face paint to play with on the trip, and the 4th seemed a good opportunity to use it.  Drew told me he wanted a flag across his face, so I gave it a shot! 

Whitley got a star and some fireworks, while David wanted a rocket and a star.

Stacy planned a festive dessert.  The kids were happy to help.

Getting ready for the fireworks!  George bought a ton of them and put on an excellent display!  Whitley didn't like the noise, so she spent most of it inside,  but what I saw was awesome!
