Whitley Christmas

My parents were here for a week, and we all spent a lot of quality time together. In addition to celebrating Christmas Eve at our home, we exchanged gifts on the 22nd, ate a delicious Christmas Day dinner at Stacy's, frolicked in falling snow, and played with lots of new toys! What a Christmas!! A nice family portrait! A Christmas miracle!
Big smiles for CC and Day Day.

Whitley opened a pretty jewelry box from CC. (She loves looking in the little mirror and watching the ballerina twirl.)
Drewby received another costume, and got in it immediately. I hope the red carpet is ready for him- look at that pose! (And Day Day tickled by him in the background!)
Day Day's still laughing here, but this time it's because Tom wrapped up a framed 5x7 school photo of himself for my dad. I'm not sure why, but that sure struck Daddy as funny! :) Of course, we included some photos of Whitley in case Dad wanted to swap it out.
George liked his exercise book.
Baby David tries out some bread and turducken in the outfit we gave him for Christmas.
Stacy's pretty, festive table. What a feast!!
Some Christmas clownin'.
Uh oh! The "kissisaurus" was spotted again at the Davis's house, and this time Whitley tried out the part. Ooooh, she got Stacy! (And we all agreed Whitley is a very sweet kissisaurus. She has the gentlest roar!)

Several inches of snow fell on Sunday, canceling our trip to Florida. We were quite upset, and drove (carefully and slowly!) from the airport to Stacy's to pout. Everyone in her neighborhood was out enjoying the weather, though, so we let Whitley join in the fun. Since we had prepared for the beach, Whitley borrowed snow gear from Drew.

Tom and Whitley get ready to head down the hill.
Drew and Stacy are all bundled up.
On Monday, we headed to Stacy's again. There were lots of new toys to play with!
Whitley got the biggest kick out of these cars!
The Lindsey's drove down from VA to spend the day with us, too.
Check out our new striped sweaters. :)
It's always fun to catch up with Sydney.
