Holiday Fun

In the week or so leading up to Christmas, we celebrated with friends and family on a few different occasions. We met the Kelletts for dinner at Tyler's, and Dave and Terri at Mello Mushroom. After eating pizza with her aunt and uncle, Whitley ran all around the Tobacco district, squealing with glee at all the "beautiful lights"! Even though it was quite chilly outside, Whitley didn't want to go home. With all the decorated trees and gingerbread houses, there certainly was a lot to look at! Dave and Terri with an excited Whitley

Whitley loved looking at the candy on the gingerbread houses.
There was a community tree decorating contest set up in front of the DPAC. There were many unique and pretty trees. Whitley's favorite was an all pink one created by the Breast Cancer Awareness committee.
Big hug for Dave!
Posing with Terri.
A friend of mine from college drove through town last Wednesday and stopped by with her two girls for lunch. Her oldest, Lily, is about 8 months younger than Whitley, and the pair played very sweetly together. They have matching curls!
"Cheese!"
At Tyler's, Whitley and Nolan amused themselves by chasing each other around this game for a long while.
