Poor Whitley caught a nasty stomach bug on my birthday and suffered with it throughout the weekend. She was cheery and upbeat on Mother's Day, though, and even a little hungry. Good thing, because we had a full day of eating ahead! Sunday morning, we went over to Grammy and Papa's for Mother's Day brunch. Tom made sausage muffins and Terri brought her delicious french toast casserole. We visited for a little while afterward, playing Bananagrams, my new game. Then, we drove to the Davis's house in time for our 1:15 reservation at the Prestonwood Country Club buffet. It was quite a feast! Afterward, we hung around Stacy's house, and even had birthday cake and ice cream in my honor. I felt pretty sick that evening, and thought it was indigestion. Turned out I'd caught the bug, too, and Whitley and I both missed school the next two days. Yikes! Oh, well. Still a nice Mother's Day with my precious family. :)
