All together, we had such a fantastic Christmas with a full month of celebrations! CC and Day Day arrived the same day Grammy and Papa left, and Tom, Whitley and I hosted Christmas Eve at our house again this year. The Gundies, and the Davises joined us for snacks, socializing, and gift exchange before it was time to prepare for Santa's arrival. On Christmas Day, Whitley woke up to find that Ol' St. Nick brought her just what she wanted- the movie Cars 2! (The craze continues.) She literally hugged the movie to her chest. She was also very excited about her new games and sleeping bag. (Tom particularly likes Candyland. The two of them play nearly every day!) Once we three got ready, we headed to the Davis's for a delicious "turducken" feast and more Christmas fun. The only bad thing was that my camera broke right when Whitley saw her Santa gifts. (Of course, right?) So thank you, CC, for all of these photos!
Setting out cookies for Santa and carrots for Rudolph. (And wearing cute, new, Tinkerbelle pj's from Mae Mae!)
Christmas finery.
David loved this gun from Aunt Kim! He ran loops around with it.
Pumped about presents!

Another pair of sisters!

Playing with the Singin' Stand Tom gave me for Christmas! You can hook an iPod to it, and belt out your favorite tunes. (There's even a button that muffles the artist's voice so your audience can better appreciate your own musical stylings.) Needless to say, we had a blast with this on Christmas Day. I think Stacy is going to be ordering her own ASAP!
David is so taken with Whitley, these days. Stacy has been sharing cute stories of how he talks about her routinely. And he had nothing but love for her on Christmas! Hugs and kisses galore! Sweeeeeet boy.
Our little princess. Stacy picked out a Deluxe Tiana costume for Whitley, that fits her beautifully, and CC and Day Day read a super-sweet recordable story book on Disney's princesses. Only, after each page about a different character, they would say, "Our little princess..." and then add a complimentary detail about Whitley. :) She loves it!
