Yuletide Watsons

Grammy and Papa were here for ten days just before Christmas, so we held our Watson Christmas just a bit early. One evening we met up with them and Dave and Terri at our ever-popular resteraunt, Tyler's, and enjoyed the Christmas trees and light displays once again. On Sunday, Dec. 18 we had a traditional holiday feast- turkey, potatoes, and more!- before exchanging gifts. Grammy and Papa stayed with us through Friday, and it was so nice to have them stay with Whitley during school hours on Monday and Tuesday while Tom and I worked. Wednesday, Dec. 21, was an exciting day. Grammy and Papa looked at a house here in NC they want to buy! Whitley ran all around it, making herself at home (even trying to climb on the master bed), so she was clearly happy with the choice. We will all be overjoyed to have them near! Posing before the lights with Uncle Dave.
Checking out Christmas trees with Grammy.

(First) Christmas dinner!

Whitley was happy to help pass out presents to everyone (as long as there were plenty with her name, of course!)

Ooooh! Excited about the wind chimes Daddy wanted.

Watching Papa open one is fun, too!

She sure loved this little light-up snowman.

Taking a rest-break with Aunt Terri.

Making gingerbreak cookies with Grammy. They cut them out and baked them, but I was thankful they let us all help decorate! Fun and yummy!
