Here are a few pics from some of our recent fun in the sun. Last Friday, Whitley and I went with Stacy and the boys to their pool. It was a gorgeous day, and the pool was quiet; we had a great time! Then, the very next day, we headed to Carolina beach for a mini-vacay with some friends. It was such a beautiful three days, and further proof of how much Whitley loves the beach! I wish we could go every weekend!

The Kellets were there, too, and Whitley enjoyed roaming the beach with Nolan.
We dug multiple holes which amused them for hours.
They let Whitley try out this small, inflatable boogie board, and I couldn't believe how much she liked it! My usually cautious- and let's face it, pretty wimpy- daughter got rolled over by as many waves as she rode in, and kept coming up for more! I'd never seen her so sandy. It was all in her hair, coming out of her ears... she didn't mind a bit.
Nolan likes a goldfish break, too.
Tom, Whitley, and I went to the local aquarium for a little while one morning. (We are NC Zoo members, and it has been the best deal! We got in free here. Woo hoo!)
I couldn't believe how close these alligators were. First of all, I've never seen an alligator move around in his habitat at any zoo or aquarium. Well, not only were these swimming, but they pressed right up to the glass! You could see the algae on their scales and teeth!
