Mommy's Birthday and Family Fun

Whitley is sassy in a new hat from CC!

Well, my 33rd birthday week is officially over, and what an excellent birthday week it was! My parents were in town for a few days the last week in April, and Whitley and I met them at Stacy's for dinner and a "cruise" around the neighborhood. Drew is such a great driver of his race car! I couldn't believe how fast he goes and how well he turns the car. He followed the sidewalk perfectly, and Whitley loved every second. She said, "I flying! Faster, Drew! C'mon!" It was very cute. The following Saturday, Stacy and the boys came over to our house to play a bit and share lunch. It was a hot one, so we tried to keep the kids in the shade and ended up spending some time inside with a movie on. Then on Sunday, May 2, my birthday week officially kicked off with lunch, cake and presents at Stacy's! Lots of folks dropped by for the gathering, (albeit more to visit with mom and dad than celebrate me, hee hee) including the whole Gundie clan, Uncle Mark and Aunt Mary, and Beb and Nancy. It was so nice to have everyone together.
My two favorite curly heads take a spin around Weycroft.

CC tried to help Whitley learn to pedal a tricycle. Whitley'd never done it before!

We set up some toys in the shade for the kiddos on Sat. Check out Drew's Buzz Lightyear wings!

Baby David finds a sweet shady spot in CC's lap...

And beats the heat inside with Day Day!

Nothing but smiles from this loverboy!

Drew and Whitley had a little tea party and picnic outside. What cuties!

I tried to make a point to get some photos of us adults on Sunday. :)

The Whitley girls.

My Uncle Mark sits with the kiddos for singing, cake and ice cream.

Carden Cousins!

Sweet Mae Mae had to get her some David sugar, too!

My loving family. :)
