More Scouting

Here are a few more photos from Whitley's last couple of months of Girl Scouts before the summer break.  Her troop joins up again in September!
At an event called "Daisy Body Talk," Whitley and her pals enter answers about healthy choices using those clickers.
In this relay, Whitley's team had to quickly fill their lunch bag with healthy foods!
This giant head is a small auditorium on the workings of the human brain.  You crawl inside "the brain" to learn all about it!
The girls got to water the crops and run around a body-inspired playground.  There was a skeleton to climb and a slide shaped like a tongue.
The girls chose to spend some of their cookie money on a bowling celebration.

Whitley wanted to take a selfie. :)
Each of the Daisies received their pins and some patches while enjoying some snacks.
Whitley finished her first year as a Girl Scout!
We also went to a local lake and tried paddle boating with the troop.
Here's what a year of Daisies looks like!  I love collecting the patches, but they are tricky things to sew on.
