New England Trip 2010: Family Reunion

The Wilson branch of the Hargreaves family hosted a wonderful family reunion weekend July 24-25. Many loved ones whom we only see once a year or so attended. A heavy rain chased away the humid heat, and we enjoyed beautiful weather Saturday evening and all of Sunday. Most people took advantage of the lake, spending many hours swimming and boating. Whitley certainly felt there was no need to be anywhere but in the water, and sweet Tom obliged! (As usual, I opted to stay dry. Lame, I know, but that's why we have these photos!) Abundant thanks goes out to the Wilson, Brooks, and Orrell families for hosting and feeding us! We sure had an awesome time! This bunch was taking turns doing belly flops. They were in hysterics!
Whitley and Mychaela hitch a ride.

Look at this crew! I couldn't believe the boat would leave with that many people on it, but then I saw...

most of them were going knee-boarding!

Sweet siblings!

A few of Whitley's older cousins. :)

Whitley did not want to stay seated on this boat ride, at first, but ended up falling asleep on my lap at the end.

Waiting for breakfast with Aunt Terri and Uncle Dave.

Day Two in the lake.

Thanks goodness Daddy is a swimmer!

An attempt at a family portrait. Aren't the kids excited about it? :)

On Sunday night, Whitley spent almost the entire evening on this little beach. She was drenched and sandy, but very happy! It was a big hit with the little ones. Liam, Avery, Jack and Whitley played here forever!
