A Swingin' Good Time!

What a big weekend Whitley had! On Friday night, Asha, one of my best friends from high school, drove down from VA with her darling daughter Eva. We girls had a wonderful time chatting and playing. While there were a few "No"s and "Mine"s exchanged from time to time, the little ones generally got along really well. Eva was generous with her hugs, and Whitley would call for her wherever she went. (Even today she asked for Eva on the way to school and again when we were home!) On Saturday, we visited the NC Museum of Life and Science where Stacy and the boys joined us. The dinosaurs and animals were enjoyable, but the kids really loved the outdoor percussion exhibit! Tom and Uncle Dave spent the day building Whitley's big Christmas present- a swing set! They worked so steadily that Eva and Whitley were able to play on it a little before sunset. We had a swingin' good time on Sunday, as well.

Sweet David was all bundled up and checking things out!

Bam! Bam! The drums were a hit!!

Thanks, Daddy and Uncle Dave for putting together the swing set!

The new toy looked like so much fun, even silly Rocky wanted to try it! (I've never seen him do anything like this! It was crazy!!)

I laughed that Rocky hasn't felt so loved in a long while! Eva just adored him and Asha was sweet, as well. :)
