We have some friends who own a condo on Carolina Beach, and they invited us to join them down there this weekend. And we are quite glad that we did! It was so relaxing to spend the three-day weekend with the ocean in view and no school or house work to worry about. It was cool on Saturday, but in the 60's on Sunday and Monday. We played on the beach every day, and Whitley loved running along the water's edge, picking up shells, and drawing in the sand. Sunday morning, we visited the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and enjoyed the many fish, sharks, alligators, snakes, and more on display. Our friends, the
Kryders, were wonderful hosts, and we hope to visit their home again this year!
