Yesterday, CC, Day Day, Whitley and I visited a nearby county fair to see some animals and eat some fried food. :) Well, there were lots of farm animals to look at, and plenty of junk foods to snack on, but the highlight of the trip ended up being something that I didn't even expect- pony rides! Whitley saw them from a few yards away, and was calling for "
Horsie! Pony!" very excitedly. When we got near, she watched the kids ride them, and then headed for the entrance to the ponies. Daddy got in line with her, but I hesitated, nervous that she'd be afraid if she actually got on it. Daddy looked at me like I was crazy, and said, "Look at her! She's fighting to get to them!" Sure enough, she was tugging with
all her might on Day Day's hand, trying to pass up all the other little girls in line. Daddy ended up putting her on the smallest pony, a little guy named Joker. Mom and I could hear Whitley's laughter over all the other riders and their parents! It made the day!!

The first animals we checked out were the bunnies! They had this floppy girl out on the table for you to pet, but Whitley was a little nervous.

We looked at a lot of funny goats...

And Whitley got eye to eye with a big cow!

Whitley seriously studies Joker!

She had so much fun!!

Whitley walks proudly away from the duck game with her winnings! Daddy said it was the best two bucks he ever spent. She carried that
penquin around all day!!

Before we left, Whitley and Day Day posed with some big cart horses. They were
enormous up close!
Here's a video of Whitley riding Joker. :)
