Whitley received for her birthday a few more baby dolls to add to her collection. I put them all together today for a photo shoot. :)
(Poor Whitley woke up with a terrible redness above her lips due to sucking on her pacifier through the night. I put Aquaphor on it, and bought her some new paci's that don't conform to the mouth, so hopefully it will go away!)
The first doll Whitley ever fell in love with was a Dora the Explorer doll owned by her cousin Mychaela. The two girls met in July, and Mychaela sweetly shared all of her toys with Whitley. But my little daughter only had eyes for Dora. She smiled every time Mychaela handed her the doll, and cried (Wailed!) every time she took her away. I was amazed at Whitley's adoration for a character she'd never even seen before. Well, it wasn't long before Whitley had a Dora of her own (Thanks, again, CC!), and she giggled contentedly as she turned the doll over and over in her arms. However, over the past month or so, Whitley has decided to extend her love of Dora to other little dollies, and she does have some cute ones! Here are some pics of Whitley and her babies. :)
