Whitley gets a close up view of the array of fish in the "Ocean Voyager" exhibit- a tank as large as a football field. (It extends well beyond the frame of this photo!)
This weekend, Tom, Whitley and I drove to Atlanta for a wedding. The bride was glowing, the service was lovely, and the crowd was excited! Tom and I had a great time enjoying the cocktails, dinner and dance hits, while Whitley spent the evening with a couple of other children and her first teen babysitter. The three of us enjoyed some great family time, though, the rest of the weekend. We visited the Georgia Aquarium, apparently the largest aquarium in the world, and were extremely impressed with its modern design and awesome displays. The "Ocean Voyager" exhibit, with its giant viewing wall and underwater tunnel, was stunning. If we didn't even see anything else, I'd still say it was worth every penny. Massive whale sharks, manna rays, hammerheads, swordfish and more swam by just inches away! Tom and I were so excited, and Whitley's eyes didn't miss a thing! Here are a few pics.
