Merry Christmas!

Tom, Whitley, and I had two weeks off for Christmas this year, and we kept busy the whole vacation!  On our first Saturday, we drove the Myrtle Beach to celebrate with CC and Day Day for a couple of nights.
The kids turn their backs before their presents are revealed.  CC and Day Day wheeled in new bikes for the boys!
David tries out his.  He can fly on it!
No bike for Whitley.  She was THRILLED to receive what she wanted most...
An iPad mini!!   She has since put songs, games and books on it.  So much fun!
We were all happy to visit with Day Day who was feeling much better.  He even cooked us fried turkey and potato wedges!  Delicious.
The weather was unbelievably gorgeous.  Almost 80 degrees.  The kids were able to play outside for hours.
After our two nights in South Carolina, we headed home to get ready to host Christmas Eve.  CC and Day Day, and Dave and Terri were definitely missed, but we still had a very nice evening!  The Davises brought the usual, yummy honey-baked ham and rolls, and everyone else contributed appetizers and treats.  Tons of food!  The kids opened presents from Judy Davis, the Gundersons, the Mandiches, and each other.
Whitley got a darling Frozen dress, a book, and a Princess Sophia activity pad from Stacy, George, Drew and David.
Drewby poses with his Captain Underpants book set and new game from us.  Nice photo bomb, George!

Me and my hubby with the Christmas cards!
Swazzie was stylin' in her red jacket.
Karaoke was for the kids this year.  Whitley started us off.  (Also, isn't her dress gorgeous?  Her Grammy got it for her.  Fit her perfectly!)
Fancy Palace Pet salon from sweet Jamie and Ty!
Meatballs and ham! Yum!
The boys were quite the singers this year, too.
David was even telling jokes.  I could see him being a stand-up comedian.  He loved having the floor!
Santa came!
Anna's dress from Frozen was the biggest hit!
Merry Christmas!
