| Second in line for Merida. |
Our last day in Walt Disney World could not have been more perfect. We spent another full day at the Magic Kingdom, arriving when it opened (of course) to race to meet Merida. Whitley was SOOO excited! The meet-and-greet area was aptly decorate, and the kids could try their hand at shooting a bow and arrow while in line. Merida was perfect as she came flouncing in, chatting away in her pleasant Scottish accent. We spent the rest of the morning riding some of our favorite attractions and even meeting some more princesses! The park got really crowded in the afternoon, so we headed back to the resort to rest for a while. We'd planned a late night in the park, beginning with dinner at The Crystal Palace with gang from Hundred Acre Woods. Whitley hasn't had a lot of experience reading or watching Winnie the Pooh stories, but she knew all the characters' names and was happy to meet them, just the same. Afterwards we were able to meet the only princess left on our list- Tiana! She and Navine were so humorous and true to their movie personas; they made my list of favorite characters! There was a 7:00 light parade and fireworks show, but we didn't have the best viewing spot because the park was so packed. However, after the parade ended, the place emptied! We couldn't believe it; it was so surreal. We were literally the only people on Pirates of the Caribbean and three of just a handful on the Haunted Mansion. Then, when the 9:00 parade started, we could watch from wherever we wanted! It was so fun because all the characters on the floats looked at us and waved since there was no one else around. So cool. We were so sad to leave, but I couldn't have imagined a more perfect send off.

| Wedway People Mover! Tom kept talking about this ride, and I kept rolling my eyes at him. But when there were mile long lines for everything, and this was the only one moving, we hopped on. I was pleasantly surprised! It's a fun little trip around Tomorrowland. |
