Whitley at Play

Nearly a month since my last post! Pathetic! I don't really have an excuse except that school started, and I haven't hardly taken any pictures. But I have a few fun sets now, so I should do a couple of blogs this week. :)
These pictures are of two cute ways Whitley likes to pretend:

Whitley has become obsessed with driving the car. Almost every time we get in, she whines when I plunk her in her car seat, "NO! I want THAT chair! I wanna turn the wheel!!" When we arrive home from daycare, as soon as I unhook her safety straps, she clambers into the front seat. There, she grins happily and repeats, "I turn wheel. I turn wheel."
At least she also insists on wearing her seat belt.

Whitley is also starting to like "dress up"! She has four pairs of sunglasses that she adorns, a couple of crowns, three "wands", and one VERY important pair of Snow White heels. (The latter being her most favorite.) This day, she insisted on wearing her "giraffe dress" (which is really a nightgown from Grammy) along with her adored accessories. I took this photo wearing a pink princess crown and purple glasses, myself. Whitley held my face and said I looked "soooo beautiful!"
