We took it kind of easy the last half of our vacation week, even skipping out on the beach a day or two. Whitley swam in the condo's pool some, and CC, Stacy, and Drew enjoyed it, as well. On Friday, Stacy, George and I took the kids to ride the same attractions they rode last Thanksgiving, with one exciting addition. This time, Whitley and Drew started out in a little car that whipped around an oval track, and it was definitely the highlight of the day! The first time the car flew around the turn, the faces of our two toddlers were priceless. Whitley's eyes were round as saucers, and for a split second, I was nervous that she'd start crying. On the contrary, she and Drew busted out laughing, and squealed throughout the remainder of the ride! (All while maintaining a death grip on the handle. They were obviously still a bit nervous!) When it was time to pack up and head home on Sunday, I couldn't believe that ten days had gone by so quickly. As usual, we had a wonderful time, and are so thankful to my family for making the week such a special one. It was especially nice to see my Daddy looking and feeling so well. I guess we all should have known that some sun, sand, and grandkids would be the best rehabilitation for him! Love to all!
Thank goodness for this table. We had a lot of down time here with those two, coloring, painting, and playing blocks.
