Wet and Wild!

(Actually, Whitley's pretty cautious in the water, but I thought "Wet and Wild" made a better title.) :)

I haven't done a blog in a while, because I've been so preoccupied with my daddy's health since his surgery on May 27. Stacy and I were with my mom in MN for a week, and the Watsons were kind enough to drive up here earlier then they'd planned to stay with Whitley and Tom. Hopefully, Daddy is on the mend, and I'll have a blog with pictures of him soon!

Well, in my absence, Tom got a blow-up pool for the deck, and Whitley has been loving it! She "swims" in it everyday, and it is a nice way for all of us to enjoy the sunshine without getting overheated. Yesterday, Whitley and I joined the Davis family for a trip to one of the pools they belong to. It was very exciting! Whitley liked splashing around in the baby pool and jumping to Stacy and me in the deeper section of the larger pool. There were numerous tables and chairs set up in shady spots around the pools which was perfect for a big snack time. After swimming, we stopped for yummy Goodberry's frozen custard, and then played for a while at Stacy's house. We had such a great time, and Whitley and Drew played soooo sweetly!

Out of five photos, this is the only one of them looking in my direction. I kept asking them to say "Cheese," but Drew said, "No, let's say 'Pool!'" I think that's what he's saying here. :)

Stacy, George, and I were enthralled with how well Whitley and Drew played. They pushed cars, read books, and played with the castle without a single fuss!
