What a crazy week it's been! The snow that fell for hours last Friday and Saturday kept us out of school through Wednesday! I was happy to come home from my weekend away to a few days of lounging at home with my darling family, but by Wednesday, Tom and I were feeling a little anxious about the teaching time we were missing. Our Principal said the building was open, so we all headed to work for a few hours. Whitley loved running around the wide empty hallways and playing with some of the recess equipment in Tom's room. She even got to watch her favorite film
The Lion King on Tom's Smartboard! Thursday, we had school (on a two-hour delay schedule), but then Friday we awoke to fat falling flakes once again. Whitley's daycare closed, and our district called for an optional teacher workday. Thus, Whitley went back to work with us, and entertained the majority of our school staff with her busy, giggling little self. I took a few photos of her "working" with Tom and the rest of the seventh grade crew in their grade level team-room. :)

This is really the only snow picture I have! Tom made these cute igloos and put candles under them. There were two in front of our house, as well as this one on our back deck, and they glowed so brightly! I thought they were so pretty!

Whitley and her shark are all set up for the movie.

Watching
The Lion King on the big screen!

Whitley helps the 7th grade teachers get ready for our upcoming honor roll assembly. At one point she made everyone laugh by drawing on the white board, and then demanding, "What letter is this?" Everyone said she was a natural teacher. :)

Last night, Uncle Dave came over for pizza and ice cream. He helped Whitley open a fun present that he and Terri gave her at Christmas. (Tom and I put some toys away for a while because she got so many all at once! We thought we'd spread them out.)

In typical toddler fashion, Whitley was initially more interested in the box. Look what a fun couch it makes!
