Happy Halloween!

Getting ready to go!
Running home to Stacy's house- candy in hand!
This was such a wonderful Halloween for us Watsons! Tom and I love the holiday, and it looks like Whitley is also a huge fan! On Friday, Tom and I hosted a costume party for friends. (Whitley had a great time spending the night with Mae Mae and Uncle Ralph!) We were so excited at the effort everyone put into their costumes. This evening, we drove over to Stacy's for our second annual trick-or-treating with sweet Drewby, the cutest pirate you ever did see. Keeping with her birthday theme, Whitley was Nemo, and everyone loved her costume. (I even overheard some teenagers pointing her out to the rest of their crowd.) I don't know if Whitley could have been more excited about the whole experience. All the kids came out around the same time, running around the neighborhood, and Whitley was right in the middle of it, just squealing with delight! She didn't grasp the concept of getting candy initially, and simply ran up to the first few houses to laugh and then run right back to me. She picked up on it, though, and was eventually grabbing treats by the handful, always saying, "Thanks!" The weather was surprisingly beautiful and warm, and when Whitley seemed too hot to continue, we enjoyed sitting on the Davis porch and trying a few sweets. It was all so much fun!!

At our party, I was a "saloon girl" and Tom was a "gunslinger". :)

Some of the first guests to arrive!

Before we left to Trick-or Treat.

There's no bones about it! A baby just couldn't be any cuter than David!

Tom had a good time laughing with his littlest nephew.

Woo! We're getting excited!!

Moving right along- she'd really gotten the hang of it.

Checking out the loot.

Two cute cousins who were not at all interested in having their picture taken. I can't imagine why! :)
