After months of careful cruising on furniture and pushing the princess car, Whitley is stepping out on her own! Yesterday, when I picked her up from daycare, they said she had walked all around the little room, and Whitley promptly proved them right by walking into my arms. I was curious to see how she did at home, with furniture and walls much farther apart. Whitley was more cautious last night, but did walk back and forth between Tom and me pretty well, and actually let go of my hand at one point to get to her car. Then, what a difference a day makes! Tonight, she's walking everywhere! Downstairs and in her room! Her favorite game, though, is still toddling from person to person. She loves the reward of a big hug!! Here's the video:
