Whitley On the Move!

This summer, Whitley has progressed rather significantly in a few areas, but I haven't blogged any of it due to our trips! Most notably, she started crawling in Minnesota after many months of some entertaining floor swimming. I'm just so impressed by how quickly babies develop. One day, she's hesitantly creeping forward; the next, she's hauling butt! She also pulls herself up to standing, and cruises along the rail of her crib. (This new ability has recently caused us some looong nights. Now, when she stirs, instead of tossing and turning her way back to sleep, she immediately stands up and howls. We're working on it...) Additionally, Whitley has one bottom tooth, and another poking through on top. (This is oddly out of order, but not unheard of, according to What to Expect: The First Year.) I will supply a picture of her teeth when I get one. As of yet, they really don't show. It's been fun feeding Whitley some of our food. She loves to try new things, but seems to like plums the best. She giggles after every bite! I'm going to try to post some videos here of her moving around. Hope they work!
