Hershey's Chocolate World

After our New England trip, we headed back down toward North Carolina with a stop in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  While there, we decided to take a tour around The World of Hershey.  We met some characters, rode on a trolley, and even made our own candy bars.

Whitley poses in front of a picture of candy characters with original names like Hershey, Reese and Kiss.  That's right, those are their names!
Here she is with...Hershey!  (I will try to stop being snarky now.)
The trolley was a bit of fun.  The "woman" on the right was a guy who kept changing costumes throughout the trip.  It was informative and entertaining.

Is that candy bar ready yet?
What could be hotter than an overweight bald man wearing an apron and hairnet?  At least Whitley pretties up this photo!
We have created our candy and are ready to move out!
We also went to the Hershey Gardens.  The flowers were beautiful and the gardens overlooked the amusement park.

We found this table at the end of the Girl Scout scavenger hunt.

These are the designs each of us created for our candy bars.
