Christmas Eve and Day

For the 4th year in a row, Tom, Whitley and I hosted Christmas Eve for our families, an event we greatly enjoy.  We had a nice night with heavy hors d'oeuvres, a few gift exchanges, and even a little karaoke.  But mostly, it was just fun to all be together.  :)  Dave, Terri, Grammy and Papa spent the night with us, so that was an added treat.  Then, in keeping with tradition, Tom, Whitley and I had Christmas dinner at Stacy's house.  They cooked a turducken, and had lots of fancy sides.  We decided to spend the night this year, though, so we could keep the party rolling!  It was so fun to play cards in their party room when the kids all went to bed.  Can't remember the last time we did that!

Our fine spread!  Everyone contributed, and everything was  yummy!  Stacy and George brought a  ham and rolls, too.

Whitley sang "Firework" by Katy Perry- her favorite song.  She was a hit!  (She's wearing a beautiful Merida nightgown from CC and Day Day that she opened just that evening.  The fanciest nightgown I've ever seen!)

We gave Dave a Darth Vader ornament.  It talked.  :)  Whitley loved it, and actually asked me later if we could borrow it from Dave.  Ha!

Santa brought a super cool bow and arrow set which Whitley tried out Christmas morning.  It shoots so far!

We gave Kiki a yellow bean bag.  I think he liked it.  :)

Christmas was a lovely day so folks spent some time on the deck.  

Stacy and George really spoiled us this year, especially Whitley!  The boys got guitars for Christmas, and they gave Whitley her own pink one!  Soooo cute!
