So, after living every free minute of two full weeks as Rapunzel, Whitley spends a morning at the Davis house and decides nothing is cooler than Darth Vader. :) Drew kindly lent Whitley this costume last Sunday, and she's worn it every evening since. One night, Whitley and I went to my school to meet up with Tom coaching his first track meet of the season. I let her go ahead and wear the costume, since she was already fully garbed, and she was a hit! Kids and adults alike smiled at her and her glowing light saber. She even introduced herself to my Principal as Darth Whitley. Ha!
Very cool, nonchalant stance which she came up with herself.
I posted on Facebook that she was the "prettiest little Dark Lord of the Sith in any galaxy" and lots of friends agreed. :)
