We have enjoyed some truly perfect spring weather the past few weekends- sunny, warm, breezy, with no bugs or humidity... and we have tried to take full advantage of it! Whitley has spent most of each Saturday and Sunday outside, proving yet again what a great investment her swing set was! CC and Day Day certainly got their share of vitamin D last weekend, and Tom, Whitley and I took a little trip to Duke gardens yesterday to take in some spring blooms, as well as sunshine. The hammock is a hoot!
This picture wasn't taken outside, obviously, but it's still a nice one of Whitley and Day Day snuggling and giggling.
Duke gardens! The bench where Tom proposed to me is gone and has been replaced by a patio and viewing area. Oh, well. Still a special place. :)

My turn to smile with my pretty baby.
This was the most gorgeous tree, and Whitley played under it for an hour. She danced and twirled, tossed the petals, and ran all around. It was definitely a popular spot for playtime and photos for many garden patrons. Not hard to see why- it looks like something a fairy princess would live in!
Whitley would peek through the branches and say, "I'm gonna do a dance show!" I think she was pretending it was a stage curtain like at the children's museum. :)
