Family Day

Tom, Whitley and I had a nice family Saturday in Greensboro today. We headed that way this morning and stopped at a church to visit one of my college friends who was in town for an event. Then we enjoyed a big lunch before spending the afternoon at the city's Children's Museum. Once again, the grocery store section was a hit with Whitley, though she also loved the pizza parlor and playing house. She rarely naps at home these days, but she sure fell sound asleep on the car ride home! Here are a few pics from the museum. Whitley's "Cheese!" face, and a full shopping cart.

Gathering utensils so she could serve me some pizza.
Topping off my glass of lemonade.
Daddy gets a piece, too!
On the porch of the farm house with a freshly gathered basket of eggs.
Another "Cheese!" face while taking the eggs inside.
Whitley was so sweet to this "newborn"! First she found a blanket and tucked him in. Then she carried over a stool and book to sit down and read him a story. :)
