It was just about a year ago that I first started this blog to chronicle Whitley's babyhood with a post describing our trip to Myrtle Beach. Well, we just got back today from our second annual vacation at CC and Day Day's condo there, and goodness, how our little Whitley has changed! Here is a picture from our first trip. :) 
This year my parents had a full house! We drove down on Father's Day and got to visit with the Gundies a little bit who'd been there all weekend. Monday morning we hit the beach, and Whitley loved it! Last year she just had to sit in the shade, but this summer she did the beach up right! It was so much fun getting to watch her marvel at the ocean, and chase her as she ran up and down the shore! My mom was quite clever, as she packed the kids' toys in two plastic tubs, which the guys filled with water. Drew and Whitley had little "pools" at the beach, and they had the best time splashing in them. (And it gave us adults a chance to sit down and relax!) On Tuesday, the Lindseys and the Mandiches rolled in, and joined us until Friday. It was so wonderful to see all of them, and we had a great time eating, drinking, laughing, playing games, and telling stories. As usual, my parents were the perfect hosts all week, and the time went by far too fast. :) The pictures help tell the rest of the story.
