Well, Stacy Davis has definitely set the bar high! Drew's 2nd birthday was Fire Engine Red Hot! Drew had a fire truck birthday cake (Which Stacy made and decorated herself!), a fire truck pinata, a fire truck coloring banner (Which George drew himself!) and a real, live fire truck! About 14 kids busily scampered around enjoying the toys, company, and snacks for an hour before the real fire department showed up for a safety presentation (complete with fireman hats) and a tour of their truck. The kids absolutely LOVED it, with more than one telling Miss Stacy that this was the best birthday party they'd ever been to. Whitley was one of the younger partygoers, and took it all in from a distance, safely on CC's hip. (Whitley was soooo excited to see her! As soon as she saw her, she gave CC a big hug and wouldn't let got!) Drew was an excited guest of honor, spinning about repeatedly, chanting, "Faster! Faster!" as each little boy and girl arrived. Of course, nothing made Drewby happier, though, than sitting in that fire truck. Bless his heart- he did NOT want to get out! I had a great time taking photos and meeting some of Drew's friends, and I was so proud of my pretty, dainty daughter who smiled and played quietly, in her cute purple ensemble. Here are the photos:
