Whitley beams at her daddy as we enter her room to pick her up! (I actually didn't get the camera ready quick enough; when she first sees us, her smiles are priceless!!)We've been pretty fortunate so far in terms of Whitley's daycare experience. Yes, we've dealt with the constant runny nose and recurring ear infections (and it is so heartbreaking to see Whitley feeling miserable!), but overall, the ladies who tend to her have been really great. They truly seem to love Whitley, showering her with as much affection and attention as they are able to give. Additionally, they've been wonderful about answering all of my many questions, keeping us updated on Whitley's little daily accomplishments, and following through on my multiple, "Can you please make sure's". Well, on Monday, Whitley moved rooms for the first time since she began attending daycare. She is now in the second infant room with babies who pull up, cruise, eat more solids, and so forth. (She'll stay in this room until she walks well and drinks solely from a cup.) In honor of Whitley's first mini-graduation, we brought in cupcakes for Whitley's old and new teachers, and the camera! Here are a few photos from Monday and today:

This is Ms. Ora, the first woman Whitley ever met at daycare. She scooped Whitley right out of our arms that first day back in January, and was so warm and sweet, that Tom and I only cried a teensy bit. :)
Ms. Rita, Whitley's new morning greeter. She's sweet, too!
And this is Ms. April, rocking Whitley to sleep on her first day in the new room.
Ms. April is super sweet, as well! (She really does have the cutest little southern voice I've ever heard.)
