Halloween was a hit once again with the Watsons! Tom and I hosted our annual "Ghostly Gala" and were happy to add a few new decorations and costumes to our collection. Whitley attended some fun events, herself, including a Halloween party with her Daisy troop and a character parade at her school. Of course, we headed to the Davis household on the actual All Hallow's Eve for trick-or-treating with the boys, Stacy, George, CC and Day Day. The cousins went with coordinating outfits this year as they kept Gotham (and Weycroft) safe from harm. It was a beautiful night, and the kids were so excited as they RACED from house to house. I was quite impressed with Whitley's ability to keep up with Drew; every other year she's lagged behind as I've helped her up the stairs and urged her along. Then I realized- she wasn't a princess this year!! Hard to keep up with two running boys in an over-sized gown. :) Catwoman makes for easier maneuvering, for sure. All three kiddos filled their bags with candy and Trick-or-Treated for exactly one hour. Then, they collectively asked to head on home. It was so funny- they'd had enough! (They had been running pretty hard, and the bags were heavy.) I think the boys headed out again later, but Whitley immediately donned her pajamas and settled down for some supper. Still, we can't wait until next year!

| We had a Robin Hood/Maid Marian thing going on. |

| Most people called me "princess" all night, though, which was fine by me. :) |
