We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! We started out on Thanksgiving day at the
Gundies. When we first arrived, sweet Mel asked Whitley to help her make a pie! Whitley stood up on a chair and watched the baking take place, contributing a little now and then. Mae Mae prepared a beautiful and tasty feast, as usual! After dinner, we went to the airport to pick up CC and Day Day and then headed to Myrtle Beach. There, we spent a great weekend away, enjoying nice weather, too much food (fried turkeys, potato wedges, and seafood!) and lots of fun. Here are a few pictures:

Whitley was pleased to help Melanie in the kitchen!

Whitley and Drew were entranced with Whitley's new obsession, "The Little Mermaid." They were so sweet watching it together on the bed!

On Saturday, Stacy, CC, Judy, Whitley, Drew, David and I visited Broadway at the Beach and Drew and Whitley rode all the kiddie rides. They were fearless! This was Whitley's first time riding anything other than a carousel; I was so excited for her!
First they tried the cars...

then the tea cups...

but the
motercycles were their favorite, I think! Whitley waved from the back, while Drew was so serious driving. (It went up and down, as if it were "
poppin' a wheelie". We got the biggest kick out of it!)

This picture is my favorite, though. They look like little royalty!

Here's Day Day with mini-Day Day. (Making the same face!)

We busted out the dancing Santa, and Day Day showed Whitley how it's done.

I love this picture of Drew in the golf cart. He is just so cool... like a toddler James Dean. :)
